Growing up, Judy’s family travelled around the world giving her an appreciation of other cultures and beliefs and an ongoing thirst for travel.
A relative late comer to medical practice, she returned to study when her children were in primary school. The travel bug continues to impact her developing medical career, seeing her in positions throughout Gippsland in Victoria.
She is a procedural GP and enjoys working in rural and remote settings.
She recently worked as an Antarctic Medical Practitioner at Davis station for the Australian Antarctic Division and spent three years working with the Royal Flying Doctor Service in the Kimberley in Western Australia.
Outside of medicine, her passion for exploring the great outdoors has taken her to such places as Nepal on a 21 day trek around Himalayas including Everest Base Camp and extensively around Australia.
She also has a passion for cars and motorsports, and volunteers with a group providing medical services to motorsport events around Australia.
