Visas and passports in Nepal

Each country has different visa requirements depending on your nationality. You are required to organise and obtain your own visa before you depart on your Nepalese holiday.

Passport Requirements

Please ensure that your passport is valid at least 6 months after your date of your return. Ensure you have at least two blank pages for exit and entry stamps. Damaged documents may be refused.

Visa Requirements for Nepal

Australians, New Zealanders, Britons, Americans, Canadians, South Africans and a number of citizens from Asian and European nations do not require a visa when travelling to Nepal if staying less than 90 days. Entry visas can be issued for a duration of 15, 30 or 90 days.
